Yeah - the economy is in the shitter...has been for awhile.

If you have had to adjust things, what did you cut back on?

I have gone to only 23 channels on the television, I cannot say that it has hurt anything at all
I have stopped mowing my lawn every week and have switched to every 9 days
I have stopped buying coffee and bring my home brew with me now
I have started another garden on the other side of the house
I will only buy the Sunday paper now (stealing the one off the guy on the park bench is real easy)
I have stopped feeding my cigarette habit ( I quit over 10 months ago)
I now pick up small change in sidewalk cracks
I stay home more often  ( I kinda like that!)

We eat out less often, down to three times a week.
We didn't take a vacation to the mountains, but that was more sickness related.
I don't buy as many rare coins as I did earlier
I'm more selective on things I do purchase
I spend less on gasoline, and let the grass go a little longer
I run the pool pump 8 hours instead of the 12 I used to run it
We buy a little less for the grand kids.

Must be some more...I'll post later
Save America, IMPEACH OBAMA! And continue tossing out the deadbeat Democrats that are currently in office.

Luckily the economy hasn't affected us too much. It seems to be picking up here, people are spending money like always. We went to the HardRock casino in Tampa last week and the poor economy doesn't appear to be hurting them either. The place was packed with senior citizens, they were rolling in on their wheel chairs by the dozens

That's the kind of senior citizen I hope to be.

Me too, except I get bored with those slot machines pretty quick. Once I've lost 10 bucks then I'm done. I don't see how people can get addicted to that. I do like black jack, but I sit at the $15 tables and once I'm ahead then I quit.
