I am to blame...
We had 25 pages+ of spammers.
I went into all the newbies accounts, checked their IP addies, checked them and found 99% were spammers.

I don't really understand what's going on with the spammers. I get e-mails every day (multiple e-mails) of people trying to log in with obvious spam names (random characters in their user names, etc) and I never let them in, so I'm not sure how we're still getting spammers.

some spammers are smart they use real looking user names to try and get in so be careful about user namess that look real cause they could be a spammer

I think I've let one or two people in in the past 2 months or so. Hopefully that's not too many.
