fossil hunting

now many wonder why i do this, well it's part of history no matter how small the fossil is, tends to help understand what the earth was like back millions of years ago and you do find some neat and unusual fossils

i have found some fossils that make you go"what the?" cause they are either incomplete or just parts of fossils

limestone is a great place to find fossils, i have found many in limestone but a few in non limestone rocks

i have been hunting fossils since i was 10 now this isn't for everyone cause it's not exciting , can become very boring but when you find a fossil it makes the time spent seem ok, an eye for detail is needed cause some fossils are small

but overall to those who like the thrill of the hunt this maybe a hobby to look into

the fossils i have found can be found at the link in my sigline

I'm sure it's exciting to find a fossil that's millions of years old! :woo:
