well found this 1947d Wheat penny in my change today , the coin would IMHO grade very good

overall not a bad find

thanks

you really don't find wheat pennies in change much nowadays so this was a unusual find most of what i find is coins dated from 1959 on up

so finding this was quite nice
expect the unexpected

I have 3 gas stations and 2 farm stands that save the wheaties for me. I usually pay them 2x face and will go back later and give them a few extra bucks if I find something good. Each one has about 20-30 each week and I get about 100 per week. the dirty little pennies they are. I seperate them into teens,20's, 30's etc I find more from the 40's than the 50's the occasional early years is always kinda cool and I wonder how they got there. My favorites are from the 20's I do not know why.
