[quote="Quicksilver"]This is about a group that wants to spread the truth without rancor or racism. I fixed the links so they will work. This is really a MUST read, all three at the very least.

here is an important link there, with many more;

http://www.citizenwarrior.com/2008/10/l ... islam.html

and one of the very important links;

http://www.citizenwarrior.com/2007/10/t ... ption.html

It is very important that people of the world of all faiths or even atheists, of every political bent, to know these things that could threaten them or their loved ones' lives. :angel:

Interesting how it is a tenet of their "religion" to lie and deceive non-muslims (taqiyya). How can we trust any of them???? I don't. Some call it a 7th century throwback. Certainly the way they treat women, and their extreme forced breeding rate is not with the 21st Century. :puker:

As part of my religious research (which is an ongoing life process for me) I've been looking into Islam. I don't find it more or less believable than Christianity or Judaism, but like those two, there's a great deal of danger in taking things literally that weren't meant to be taken so, and taking things out of context (or at least, not in the context most modern Muslims take them). I'll post more about that when I'm up to it. :thumbleft:

Yes, reading into these is all important for understanding islam.
I find much of the Old testament and New Testament to be stories to teach lessons taken as fact, ancient wisdom, some accurate and inaccurate history. Whereas the book made up in 672, and the one made up in 1827, are total fabrications.(the first for the purpose of power and wealth, and the second for delusion and fame).
Other religions have similar stories as the Old testament and stories to help lead better lives. None are really up to the task of living on a planet whose biosphere is threatened by our own proliferation, overuse, and pollution.
"Replenish the Earth" is in Genesis and ignored. Some Indian religions and ways of life, like the Utes, involved looking ahead to the consequences of your actions, and the Great Spirit as a single deity.
Personally, I am an "Involved Deist", which is one who not only believes in our Creator but that He made all the laws of physics and biology(and can violate them for about half of the recorded daily miracles, the rest are delusional), and can and will come into your life if you but ask. As per the tenets of the Big Book of AA.

That is alarming! Probably wasn't a good idea to burn the Koran in public sure he has the right to protest but that's not fair those Islamic Protesters burning poppies and shouting(with a microphone) are not reprimanded at a war remembrance on 11.11.10( That is a disgrace! :angry: ). Interesting site there Quicksilver
