Just found this one on YouTube today. It could probably just as easily be posted in the "Depressing Music" thread, but I've probably posted in that one too many times already, so this is as good a place for it as any.
"August and Everything After" was supposed to be the title track of their debut album, but it didn't make the cut, because it was too long and the band thought there were stronger songs they should put on it. Personally, I think it's probably the second best song they ever recorded.
This is the best recording of the song I've ever heard. The only other one I know of has far too many crowd noises in it.
