Well Series 7 of Doctor Who has started on BBC1(UK) last Saturday 1st 2012 and will be starting here in OZ on ABC1 on Saturday 8th September. I know many fans are looking forward to the new series.

Doctor Who's 'Asylum of the Daleks' premiere dazzles 6.4 million
Doctor Who's series seven launch was BBC One's most-watched programme on Saturday night(1st Sept), peaking with 6.9m.

'Asylum of the Daleks', which featured a surprise appearance from new companion Jenna-Louise Coleman, logged 6.38m (29.3%) between 7.20pm and 8.10pm - solid with its 2011 premiere in terms of overnight audience data.

Doctor Who is also currently the 'Most Popular' show on BBC iPlayer, meaning the audience is expected to rise considerably in the official ratings to be released in a fortnight's time.

Doctor Who new season premiere smashes ABC's iView(OZ) record in bid to stop piracy

MORE people downloaded the first episode of Doctor Who legally in 24 hours than the most popular illegally downloaded show over a whole month.
The ABC received the highest amount of daily plays on iView ever after airing the premiere episode of Doctor Who on Sunday - just hours after it aired in the UK.

Asylum of the Daleks received 75,900 plays in less than 24 hours after it aired on Sunday at 5.10am, in Aunty’s novel attempt to stop users from pirating the episode illegally.
That number only makes up about 10 per cent of the show's potential TV audience, in its current Saturday 7.30pm timeslot, however the number is significant as it means that the ABC's bid appears to have been successful.

The episode aired online almost a week before it hits TV screens on ABC1.

Australian ratings for Asylum of the Daleks (First Episode of Series 7)

Asylum of the Daleks has debuted in Australia to good ratings. The series debut averaged 549,000 viewers in the five major capital cities. Up against the football finals, it was the top-rating drama of the day and the eighth highest rating programme of the day overall. These figures follow the episode setting a daily viewer record for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation iView internet TV service, recording 75,900 plays on its first day. All episodes of series 7 will debut on iView immediately after their broadcast in the UK.

Fans have noted that when the weekly episode is on made available to viewers on Sundays via ABC iView, it is at approximately 5am or 6am local time - making it very close to the transmission time in the UK!.

Series 7 came to a close a couple of weeks ago in 'The Name of the Doctor' and finished on a cliff hanger? who is the older Doctor in the matrix? a well known veteran actor. Who Knows! :WTF:

Coming soon is the Docu Drama '50 Years in the Tardis'? and a special anniversary episode with the 11 & 10 Doctors featuring Billie Piper. Coming this November 2013.
