Civil War Bullet

Postby Brian » Wed May 12, 2010 9:23 pm

Hi, Everyone.

I just got this bullet in the mail today from an Ebay auction. I believe this is what they called a "minnie ball".

It's not in the best shape, but it's pretty cool to hold in hand. It's heavier than I expected, but it's lead so I suppose I shouldn't've been surprised. :)

Hi, Mill.

Yep. :) It's hollowed out. You got the caliber right, too. :)

Some of the civil war bullets are very rare..But there's enough of the reasonably priced ones out there, that you can get one heck of a nice collection...

You'll enjoy the history. :thumbleft:
