What are you reading now?

So, what book are you reading right now? I will admit I am still muddling through Second Opinion by Michael Palmer. Not liking it as much as I thought I would, but the stuborn side of me is forcing myself to finish it.

I've got a couple of books I've been muddling through. The one I'm most into right now is Battle Cry of Freedom: The Civil War Era, by James McPherson.

Yes, I'm actually jumping from book to book in that last. That's going to be interesting when I get a scene from one book mixed up in another.

I am not reading a book at the moment...I have so many things going on, I just can't get into one right now.

I was reading 'Jesus Freaks: A True Story of Murder and Madness on the Evangelical Edge' a non-fiction book about the Children of God religious sect in which its Prodigal Son went crazy and killed some of its members because of various factors such as child abuse. This isn't a easy book to read but is presented as fact by the author(not related to the Cult). I just couldn't read the whole book as some of the document facts in the book about sexual abusing children made me sick and I had sleepless nights. I borrowed the book from my local library.
